1988 – 1987

Computers For Education (CFE), was born in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire in 1988 and was one of the first UK companies to sell IBM Clone Computers (PC’s), direct to schools and Local Education Authorities and charities.

In June 1991 CFE were looking for new and larger premises so we moved to Milton Keynes and 6 months latter we started selling PC’s direct to the public through mail order.

We continued building and selling PC’s until September 1996 when it was clear that we could no longer compete in the market and decided to concentrate our effort and resources on PC support, repairs and introduced software and operating system training, this included WordStar, Word and WordPerfect (DOS & Windows), Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and MS-DOS. We also continued to support and develop network’s for both schools and businesses.

In late August early September 1996 (We delayed delivery as we were waiting for the release of WIN 95 OSR2) we shipped our last batch of Desktops to a Primary School in Milton Keynes all networked using Windows 95 OSR2. They shipped with 2GB Hard Drive, 32MB RAM, ATI 3D Xpression+ PC2TV 2Mb PCI video card, Creative Labs Sound Blaster sound card, 12X Panasonic CD-ROM, 3.5″ 1.44mb floppy, 14″ AcerView monitor, Windows 95 OSR2 and the cost was £999.99 per system.

Towards the end of 1996 it was becoming clear the Internet was going to become the next “big thing” in the computer world.

1987 – 2001

In the spring of 1997 Computers For Education changed name to Internet Networks and internet-networks.co.uk went live and so did miltonkeynes.com which was the first online portal for Milton Keynes. The idea behind Internet Networks was to develop and design web sites for existing and new clients while continuing to support our existing clients with their IT needs including repair and support, and the deployment of new versions of MS-Windows

Once you had built a web site you needed to host your site on a server connected to the internet these were expensive so Internet Networks leased 2 in the USA and this allowed us to offer our clients a full design build and hosting package for their web site which we still offer today, except that our servers are now based in the UK.

2001 – 2010

Internet Networks changed it name to i-netuk in 2001, we built a new web site i-netuk.co.uk and to go with the launch we opened an office in Easton Street, High Wycombe.

Between 2001 and 2010 our focus was building and developing high quality web sites for our clients, we targeted small to medium businesses and UK charities. During this time we never stopped advising and supporting our clients with their IT needs. During 2010 we sent all our staff on various courses, ensuring all are Microsoft Certified and we launched easypccare.co.uk to manage our PC Laptop support, repair solutions including training and leaving i-netuk.co.uk to develop and host web sites

2010 –

In October of 2010 after all our staff had completed their Microsoft and Apple training we continued to support existing and new clients who required IT Support from our repairs centres in Milton Keynes and High Wycombe under the name of easypccare.co.uk. We closed our office in Easton Street and moved our staff to our new repair centre in High Wycombe where we still build and host clients web sites.

With the arrival of iPads, Tablets, Notebooks and Smartphones easypccare.co.uk has been the first call for many new and existing clients when they required assistance or repairs with these new technologies.

For the last 4 decades we have been involved in the IT market offering our clients a first class modern service. As the market changed we adapted and evolved our company to meet these new technologies and integrated them with our clients current needs.
