Well it's not only Windows XP and Office 2003 that Microsoft are going to stop supporting from April 2014, they have now added Outlook Express to this list also. This means it may not be safe to be using Outlook Express while you are connected to the internet.
You could start using Microsoft Windows Live Mail or if you have Outlook in your Microsoft Office Package. Or you could switch to a web based option like Microsoft Outlook.com or use your own ISP Web Mail which will be free. |
There are other email clients that will run on computer running Windows XP right through to Windows 8. Here a easypccare.co.uk we use Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and we also use Thunderbird.
Thunderbird is a free email client and is part of the Mozilla family (Firefox web browser), it supports both POP and IMAP accounts.
Moving email from Outlook Express can take some time and be complicated, or it can be easy and not very difficult. We have upgraded many people from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail (Replacement for Outlook Express on Vista and Windows 7 & 8), Thunderbird successfully for many years now. We can do the same for you via our Remote Assist+ solution for only £25.00
Contact easypccare.co.uk today and discuss with us your options for migrating away from Outlook Express.
