Microsoft Replaces Hotmail

Microsoft have announced the idea of replacing Hotmail with Outlook.com. Outlook is the same has Hotmail, nothing really changes. The only thing that I have noticed is the style and colours. The menus are the same they really haven’t changed much.
My thoughts about Microsoft’s new Hotmail
(Outlook.com) is that it Microsoft might lose some of their long
term Hotmail users. I have been using Hotmail since it started and
it really hasn’t changed, I have had no problems finding my way
through the interface.
Microsoft has also said that you can create your email address with
@outlook.com or keep it has @hotmail.com. I will keep using
Microsoft’s web mail service for many more years yet to come. I
really hope that Microsoft can come up with something to keep their
long time users.
When you receive an attachment on an email Microsoft’s webmail
service will scan the file for you to check and see if there is a
virus or any other bugs. Using one web based email service is in
some way the same to another give or take.
At the moment Microsoft has done a good job with their new interface
for Hotmail (Outlook.com). You have the ability to change the color
of the interface, you can also get access to your settings too and
account. Also at the moment you also have the ability to change back
to the Hotmail interface aka the classic style.
Microsoft also has a long way to go if they want to get more users
for the web based email service. I have noticed over the past few
years more and more people are dropping Hotmail/Outlook and going to
Gmail or Yahoo or Mail.com. Unlike Gmail Hotmail has a limit to how
much you can storage in your email. Gmail is always adding more and
more storage space to their user accounts. There is still a limit to
the size of a file you are able to send through an email I think it
is about 10GB, I could be wrong has I don’t send file through email
if I need to send a file to somebody I just set up a dropbox account
and share that account with friends or the person I am sending a
file too. But again it is really up to you.
